The photo below was taken ten days ago, after we met with our realtor and after taking five quick, calm minutes to agree on the few pieces of items we each wanted in the house - we will be leaving the rest.
I’ve been waiting to see what the next steps would be. It seems like the trust you have in that heart of yours is guiding you right where you need to go. Pain and joy and everything in between❤️ Love you and love reading the journey.
You have such a gift for storytelling in both words and photos 💛 You are so bold and so brave in the way you live your life, and sharing this chapter feels especially fearless. So many of us at this time of life are feeling uncertain and reinventing who we have always thought we should be. Thank you for letting us in, and as soon as I can figure out how to be a paid subscriber 🧐🤨 it will be an honor to support your creative endeavors here 🙌
Oh Megan. My heart is so full for you in this journey. Chasms and swells, churning gray seas and bright cheerful but hazy calms. I am thankful to and in awe of you for trusting us to follow. I know your direct circle is a rock for you, but you’ve got even more support here, in the ether. And, I’ll happily buy you an oyster or two! My local fish monger, here in my tiny town on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, just started selling Moonbeam (moon Ray?) oysters from the Damariscotta River. Heaven. xx
I so very much relate to this. I’m living in a beautiful house for the year as I untangle from my partner of 15 years. We are being incredibly kind; still have to see each other because we take care of pets together. It is weird and good and forging something new. Cheers to new awakenings, daily tears, and fumbling towards something unknown and potentially beautiful.
Going through something similar and happy to follow along. Thanks for your vulnerability and willingness to share. 🙏
Blessings to you too.

Wow yes divine and so well said. I literally don’t know where I’ll be living in a few months and I try not to let my chest clench. 💛
